Elder lawElder law is a growing area of law that particularly affects seniors and their families in a wide variety of ways.  Our primary focus of Elder Law is maximizing the enjoyment and quality of life of elder or senior individuals and the preservation of their hard earned assets.

We work to obtain the highest level of care needed for our clients in the desired setting, (at home or in a facility) while conserving their assets.  Our emphasis addresses specific issues including long term care planning, the evaluation of assisted living centers and nursing homes, Medicaid planning and application, disability planning, asset protection planning, Veteran's benefits, Social Security, Medicare, incapacity planning, guardianships, conservatorships and health care directives.

We present the planning options to our clients, and implement a plan tailored to each client's needs and circumstances.  Often our creative planning techniques may involve trusts, wills, powers of attorney, petitions before the Probate Court and other ways to attain our client's goals.

An important part of our Elder law practice concerns disability planning and planning for those with special needs.  Our firm presents planning options to properly manage and maximize assets of the family to optimally benefit a family member with special needs and preserving their government benefits.  We accomplish these objectives through use of special needs trusts, supplemental trusts, pooled income funds, and other vehicles.

We provide the experience, value and service to our clients in achieving their objectives.
