Benjamin S. Cardew (“Ben”), an associate with Dobson Law Group, was sworn in as a member of the South Carolina Bar in November 2023. Mr. Cardew plans to focus his practice in the areas of Estate Planning, Probate Administration and Probate Litigation.
Mr. Cardew earned his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law in May 2023 where he was a member of the Student Bar Association and the First-Generation Law Student Association. Mr. Cardew clerked for Judge Amy McCulloch of the Richland County Probate Court upon earning his Juris Doctor. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Politics and International Affairs from Furman University in May 2018.
Mr. Cardew is a native of Ridgewood, New Jersey, and has been in South Carolina since 2014, spending 6 years in Greenville before moving to Columbia for law school. He now resides in Pickens with his wife Sam, a Pickens native.
