Marjorie M. Dowd is a seventh-generation native of Greenville, South Carolina. Marjorie’s passion is helping others to thrive. Prior to joining the Dobson Law Group, Marjorie worked in education administration for 20 years for the South Carolina Department of Education, serving Greenville County Schools. During that time, she served as the school district’s liaison with the Greenville Chamber, which led to many active roles in all corners of the Upstate.
Marjorie is an expert in organizational development and has presented at both national and local conferences on a wide range of topics including economic development, entrepreneurship, leadership skills, and professional mentoring.
Marjorie has owned businesses in three areas: real estate, restaurant, and retail and is adept in Corporate Planning and Real Estate Matters. Marjorie is a graduate of Leadership Greenville 40 and focuses her charitable work on helping Greer Relief, where “every neighbor matters.”
Outside of work, you can find Marjorie enjoying outdoor concerts, listening to true crime podcasts, or attending Clemson football games (Go Tigers!). She is married to Steve Dowd, and they have proudly raised their two children in her hometown of Greenville.
